Jonathan Knowles is a London based photographer specializing in beautifully composed graphic still life, liquid and people photography. His unique photographic style has earned him award winning, national and international advertising commissions working with advertising agencies worldwide.

In the past six years he has consistently featured in the ‘200 Best Advertising Photographers in the World’ books. He is now also one of the top 10 all time award winners in the Graphis Annuals, and has just had three images included in their volume ‘100 Best in Photography’, published in November 2011.

McNabb & Co. is a design studio dedicated to developing only the highest quality home furnishings and decorative arts. The City Series is a collection of wood sculptures that represent a woodworker’s journey from the suburbs to the city. Each piece depicts the outsider’s perspective of the urban landscape. Made entirely of scrap wood, this work is an interpretation of making something out of nothing. Each piece is cut intuitively on a band saw. The result is a collection of architectural forms, each distinctly different from the next.

Performances at the Sydney Festival 2013

Music, visual arts, and theatre are a few of the many things you can see and hear at the Sydney Festival 2013. Sydney Festival 2013 is an annual, three week event that captures the essence of self-expression through acting, instruments, singing, and other beautiful creations by artists from all over. January 5 through January 27, you have the opportunity to experience art in a more beautiful and collective way. Music performances at the Sydney Festival include: Archie Roach, Hunx and his Punx, Kashmere Stage Band, and Leah Flanagan. Other music artists include Lah-Lah, Navicula, and much more. In the visual arts, one of the guests that will be seen at this fantastic event is Tawdry Heartburn. Tawdry Heartburn, a nail technician, palmist, and Manic-Curist of Secrets, will be doing a 20-minute performance where he will talk to a single audience member. He will paint and polish nails, or read the person’s palm, and have them divulge a secret. The secret will be typed or handwritten and put in his secrets box. Roberto Bernardi was born in Todi (Italy) on the 18th of May 1974.He started to paint at a very young age and his first works in oils date back to the first half of the eighties. He dedicated his studies to the learning of pictorial techniques which would have a significant influence on his artistic formation.

In 1993 after his leaving school examinations in a science liceo, he moved to Rome where he worked as a restorer in the church of San Francesco a Ripa. After an initial foray with landscapes and portraits, Bernardi turned towards a totally new kind of realism closely associated to Photorealism (Hyperrealism).

The door, which is made out of the same material as a dry erase board, becomes a weekly art installation within Layton’s home.

HP Security Focused Certification Exams

The long list of HP certification exams available today includes tests with the accredited solutions expert (ASE) and accredited technical professional (ATP) designations. The HP certification exams in this discipline focus are as follows:

HP0-M56 – Implementing HP TippingPoint Solutions (ASE)
HP2-N29 – Understanding HP TippingPoint Solutions (ATP)

Both the HP0-M56 and the HP2-N29 exams confer a formal HP certification upon successful completion, making them not only a stand alone validation of security focused, HP product related knowledge and skills, but also an expansion of documented competencies for IT professionals as well.

The HP0-M56 exam contains 50, multiple choice questions which must be completed within one hour. There is additionally a practical lab portion to the HP0-M56 exam, and test takers have six hours to demonstrate their hands on expertise in dealing with TippingPoint HP technologies.

The HP2-N29 exam features just 25 questions in total and candidates have one hour to finish the test. As this exam is so brief, mastery of the testing materials is essential to successfully passing the test. Exam preparation is key to success with either test, and gaining as much hands on experience as possible before scheduling a formal HP certification exam is also recommended.

Exam prep activities should include a combination of training courses, self study, practice exams, and tutorial reviews. HP offers focused training in online and instructor led courses. Financial Opportunities for Future College Students

Paying for college can be a difficult task for students. That is why The Art Institutes 2013 Poster Design Competition is here for those interested in winning college money. Winners will receive hundred, possibly even thousands of dollars worth of scholarships to any of the schools of The Art Institutes. The goal is to create a poster conveying the theme “You Can Create Tomorrow”. The national first place winner will receive a full scholarship in the high school category.

This is an elaborate challenge for both high school students and high school graduates alike. High school seniors who participate and win can get up to $3,000 and as a high school graduate at the national level first place, up to $10,000. High school graduates may also win $1,000.
